FIRST WARNING NEIGHBORHOOD WX FORECAST
Monday, September 2nd, 2019
A surge of summer heat and humidity for Tuesday will lead to evening thunderstorms. Those storms will have the capability of becoming strong to severe with damaging winds, large hail and a couple of tornadoes all possible. It will also be breezy Tuesday ahead of the storms.
Significantly cooler air arrives Wednesday and beyond with high temperatures ranging from the upper 60s to middle 70s thru the upcoming weekend. Overnight lows during that stretch will range from the upper 40s to middle 50s.
The next legitimate rain chance isn’t until Sunday and early next week as a couple of systems look to move through the region. Details are by no means set in stone yet, but there is at least a chance of rain showers Sunday, Monday and Tuesday of next week. It’s also looking like we could return to warmer temps near 80 into next week.
Tonight: Partly cloudy, low of 62.
Tuesday: Partly to mostly cloudy, breezy, PM storms, severe risk, high of 83.
Wednesday: Partly cloudy, breezy, high of 69.
Thursday: Mostly sunny, high of 72.
