Summer Restaurant Week

The Downtown Dining Alliance of South Bend presents Summer Restaurant Week June 25 through July 7. Eat. Drink. Downtown South Bend features eleven locally-owned restaurants offering multi-course meals for $25 or dinner for two for $25.

Restaurant Week offers diners the opportunity to experience the variety of cuisine downtown has to offer from Italian to fine dining, Irish to American, and includes breakfast and lunch options. Participating restaurants include:

Diners will be asked to “Add an Extra Helping” alongside their Restaurant Week specials for only five dollars. This “extra helping” will go directly to the Food for Kids program sponsored by Jordan Automotive Group and the Food Bank of Northern Indiana. Food for Kids provides food backpacks for Kindergarten through sixth grade students during weekends and holidays breaks. The Food Bank serves more than 10,000 people each month, nearly half of whom are children.

Summer Restaurant Week offers the opportunity to rediscover old favorites and find new ones. Special prices do not include tax or tip and cannot be combined with other promotional offers or discounts. Reservations are encouraged. In addition to the Restaurant Week menus, diners can order off regular menus during this time period.
Diners will have the opportunity to take a horse-drawn carriage ride for up to four people for $10 courtesy of Dream Coach Carriages. Rides will be offered from 6 p.m. – 9 p.m. on Wednesday, June 27; Friday, June 29; Tuesday, July 3; and Friday, July 6. Call 574.654.3616 for reservations. DoubleTree by Hilton is the official hotel for Restaurant Week. Diners are encouraged to stay downtown overnight for a special rate of $99 per night based on availability. Call (574) 234-2000 for reservations.
For those that don’t want to drive, RequestRide.com is a service offered by Royal Excursion providing private transportation to downtown South Bend. Your group of two to ten people will arrive safely in style in a Mercedes Sprinter Ride. Pick-up locations are anywhere within St. Joseph County in Indiana between the boundaries of State Line Road, Ash Rd, and the US 20 By-pass.
