Sunburst races debut in Granger this summer

ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. – The annual Sunburst races are expanding this summer with the introduction of the Sunburst in Granger!

Competitors can now race on the campus of Beacon Health & Fitness – Granger in three different categories on Sunday, August 8:

Timed competitive run

• A 1-mile timed race for those looking to achieve their personal best or simply love the race atmosphere.

Timed wheelchair race

• A 1-mile race for those in any type of wheelchair who want to participate casually or competitively.

Untimed family walk

• A 1-mile walk with no timing or age restrictions.

Funds from the races will support rehabilitation programs at Memorial Hospital and Beacon Children’s Hospital.

Capacity is limited and registration is required to race.

All participants who register by July 31 will receive a t-shirt and bib.

Packet pickup will take place inside Beacon Health & Fitness – Granger on Saturday, August 7.
