A few scattered showers and thunderstorms will move through Michiana this evening. No severe weather is expected, but a few downpours and lightning strikes are possible. We'll be mostly clear overnight with temperatures in the upper 50s.
Thursday will be mostly sunny with highs in the lower 80s. Summer heat returns on Friday, with thunderstorms possible later in the day. Some of those storms could be strong to even severe, with damaging winds and small hail the main threats at this point. Temperatures will reach the lower 90s on Friday. Our best chance of measurable rain is on Saturday, with scattered showers and thunderstorms likely throughout the day. Sunday should be dry, but more thunderstorms are possible by Monday afternoon. Highs will stay in the upper 80s to start next week.
Tonight: Partly to mostly clear. Low 58.
Thursday: Mostly sunny. High 82.
Friday: A mixture of sun and clouds with some storms possible by the afternoon. High 90.
Saturday: Thunderstorms likely. High 85.
