Milder but wetter conditions this weekend
It's another chilly morning with temperatures starting in the low 40's, but we will be able to see sunshine early in the day. A cold front will swing through the Great Lakes later this morning which will lead to increasing cloud cover during the afternoon. The cold front will bring breezy conditions, with winds gusting up to 25 mph. The greatest impacts from the front will be seen starting tomorrow with temperatures struggling to make it past the low 40's and lake effect showers as the cold air moves over the relatively warmer Lake Michigan. The cool air mass in place over the region could produce some snowflakes to mix in with the rain showers, mainly later in the day. Both Monday and Tuesday will be windy with wind gusts up to 35 mph.
Today: AM sun, PM clouds. Breezy. High 57.
Tonight: Cloudy. Showers late. Low 36.
Monday: Lake effect afternoon rain/snow showers. Windy. High 41.
Tuesday: Lake effect rain showers. Windy. High 43.
