Breezy but warming up today
The short-term sunny pattern continues today with highs reaching into the low 80s across our area. We cool into the mid 50s tonight amidst mostly clear skies and will stay quiet heading into the first half of Friday. Temperatures hit the mid 80s and dewpoints the low to mid 60s on Friday as a warm front moves in, setting the stage for showers and thunderstorms Friday late afternoon through Friday night. Possible severe risks for damaging wind and hail are what we're watching for, but there are still unknowns at this time. Saturday stays mostly dry and sunny behind the cold front as temperatures return to more seasonable values around the mid 70s. Another risk for severe weather is being watched for Sunday evening, but uncertainty lies in timing and impacts. We'll keep you updated as we get closer.
Today: Sunny. High 82.
Tonight: Mostly clear. Low 56.
Friday: PM thunderstorms. High 86.
Saturday: Mostly sunny. High 74.
