Super Bowl tickets to be auctioned off for good cause

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. -- Fans looking for Super Bowl tickets will have to fork over some serious cash, but in one case it could be for a good cause.

The nuns from Our Lady of Grace Monastery are auctioning off a pair of tickets online as a fundraiser.

All of the money raised from the auction will go towards the monastery's Spiritual Retreat facility in Beech Grove.

The sisters say they've gotten bids from all over the country.

"We haven't heard from New York yet, but we are thinking we probably will,” said Sister Mary Luke Jones. "As far as going to the game, we never thought of that. We never thought this would happen either."

The tickets were donated by an Indianapolis City-County councilman. The winning bid will be announced Monday afternoon.

The highest bid currently is $6,800 from someone in Canada.
