Surveillance video of theft suspect released

Elkhart Police are searching for a man seen on surveillance video at the CVS on Cassopolis Street on April 24.

Police say the man took a large amount of alcohol from the store.

 “Somebody will go into a store or a business and grab a handful of things, or a cart or a basket whatever it is they have with them. fill it up with whatever product they want and they'll simply either walk or run out of the store get into a waiting car now that store is out that product,” said Sergeant Chris Snyder of the Elkhart Police Department.

The suspect is a white man with facial hair. He was wearing a tan coat and black pants.
