Suspect in murder of Benton Harbor student arraigned

The man accused of killing a Benton Harbor High School student last week was arraigned Monday.

Terrance Shelby Jr, 30, has been charged with open murder and felony firearm in the death of Grady Manns.

Manns' body was found near McAlister and Empire in Benton Harbor Thursday morning. His cause of death was a single gunshot wound to the chest.

In court Monday, Shelby's bond was set at $1 million.

If he bonds out, he will need to wear GPS and can only go to work and court.

His next court hearing will be May 25.
