The Elkhart County Sheriff's Department responded to a crash involving an SUV and a bike in the 67000 block of CR 31 just south of Goshen Tuesday afternoon.
The crash happened around 5:15 p.m.
Deputies said a Jeep Cherokee was headed north on CR31 when a bicyclist disregarded a stop sign and was struck by the SUV.
The rider, 12-year-old Jasmine Murillo, was thrown from the bike and suffered a head injury.
She was taken by ambulance to the Goshen airfield and MedFlight transported her to Parkview Hospital.
