SUV, unidentifiable body pulled from St. Joseph River

SOUTH BEND, Ind. - Around 4 p.m. Tuesday afternoon, a silver SUV was pulled from the St. Joseph River with a body inside the vehicle.
The vehicle was found after the Indiana DNR and South Bend Fire Department were conducting a training exercise in the river.
The South Bend Police Department has confirmed the SUV and license plate match the make and model Nick Sams and Crystal Reyes were last seen on December 27, 2014.

The body inside the vehicle has not been identified as either man or woman.
The vehicle was discovered in the St. Joseph River near Northside Boulevard across from Veterans Memorial Park by IUSB.
