NOW: System and L.E. snow today

Light/moderate system snow will continue this morning before it all sweeps off to the east, dropping an additional, widespread 1”-2”. Lake effect bands will then fire up this afternoon and carry over into the evening and overnight hours. By Monday morning, everyone will see a total 1”-3” with northern and western Michiana seeing spots of 4”. Also, the Winter Weather Advisory is still in effect for Berrien, Cass, LaPorte, and St. Joe Counties until 9 PM EST. Temps today will peak around 8 or 9 AM at 30 and fall into the low 20s by the evening as the wind swings around…prepare for the single digits for the Monday AM commute!

Our next wave of snow is set for Monday afternoon/evening through Tuesday morning, bringing another 1”-3” east of Hwy 31 and 3”-4” west of Hwy 31. Portions of Berrien and LaPorte counties could see isolated areas of 5”. Many more snow chances remain in the forecast for the rest of the work week as temps refuse to hit 30 until Friday. 

 

Today: System snow throughout the morning, and L.E. snow in the afternoon. Early morning high of 30 and falling throughout the day.

Tonight: L.E. snow showers ending, becoming partly cloudy late. Bitter cold low of 6.

Monday: Mostly sunny with increasing clouds. Snow showers in the evening. Highs near 20.

Tuesday: Mostly cloudy with L.E. snow showers possible in the AM & midday hours. Highs in the upper 20s.
