Teachers Credit Union to change name to Everwise Credit Union
ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. -- The largest credit union in Indiana, Teachers Credit Union, is changing its name to Everwise Credit Union after 92 years in the business.
This change launches June 26, and includes a new logo, visual identity, and tagline.
What won't change? Its leadership. Teachers Credit Union will remain fully member owned and headquartered in South Bend.
Officials with TCU chose the new name to better reflect its mission to serve and empower people, including growing beyond its original educator roots.
"We have always championed financial confidence and well-being for all of our members and all of our communities," said Jason M. Osterhage, President and Chief Executive Officer of Teachers Credit Union. "This is the next step in our evolution, as a simple yet meaningful way to connect with people aspiring to feel more confident and in control of their money and their future."
Teachers Credit Union has more than 50 branches and over 300,000 members throughout Indiana and southwest Michigan.
