Tebow draws major Texas crowd for Easter sermon

GEORGETOWN, Texas. -- New York Jets quarterback Tim Tebow delivered a special Easter sermon Sunday.

He's known for not just being a star athlete, but his faith in God. Thousands of fans turned out to hear Tebow speak in Georgetown, Texas, right outside Austin.

The church even moved its service outside to make room for the 30,000 people.

“Whatever happens in life, good or bad, whether you're the hero or the goat, whether you like it or not you know that someone has a plan for your life and it's a special plan,” said Tebow in his sermon.

The church says Tebow reached out and asked to speak at the service last month.
