Teen accused of attacking couple with a shovel appears in court

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The St. Joseph County teen who is accused of attacking a couple with a shovel was back in court Tuesday.
Police say 18-year-old Daron Brevard attacked a South Bend couple at their home on South Kenmore Street last month and then fled.
Police discovered that their van was missing from the garage but later recovered it at a gas station.
He was arrested the same day of the attack.
