Teen dies after crash in Kosciusko County

A Milford teen died in a crash in Kosciusko County Saturday afternoon around 3:30 p.m.

Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff's Department, EMS personnel and members of FACT responded to the accident.

Officers say 18-year-old Chelsea Fetters was driving eastbound on Bowser Road approaching CR 300 East when she slowed for a stop sign.

Fetters then drove into the intersection, into the path of a Dodge pickup truck that was southbound on CR 300, according to investigators.

Fetters was taken to Lutheran Hospital and was pronounced dead around 6:30 p.m.

The crash is still under investigation.
