Teen injured in tubing accident, airlifted to Memorial Hospital

CASS COUNTY, Mich. – According to Sheriff Richard Behnke, a 15-year-old male was tubing in Shavehead Lake when he and his friend fell of their tube and collided with each other.
The victim was struck in the head by his friend’s shoulder.
Deputies from the Cass County Marine Division were at the scene of the incident and provided first aid for the victim.
The victim was then airlifted to South Bend Memorial Hospital for treatment of his injuries.
