Teen killed by train identified

KOSCIUSKO COUNTY, Ind. -- Kosciusko County deputies are investigating an early morning train accident that struck and killed a pedestrian.
Around 2:30 a.m. Tuesday, a teenager was hit by a train while walking along the CSX railroad tracks on the east side of Lake Wawasee.
Kalee Nicole Skaggs, 15, was pronounced dead on the scene from blunt force trauma.
Skaggs was a freshman at Wawasee High School in Syracuse.
The incident remains under investigation.
