Temporary warming center to open in Elkhart

The City of Elkhart will offer a temporary warming center due to the low temperatures moving into the area.
Mayor Tim Neese announced the warming center will be open Thursday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Elkhart Central Fire Station located on East Street.
The center will be open only during normal business hours.
