Terry Sturgis faces 11 more charges, plans to plead insanity
SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- More charges were filed on Thursday against the South Bend man accused of killing his 10-year-old son.
35-year-old Terry Sturgis was already charged with murder and battery.
Police say he killed his son, Tramelle, last month by beating him to death with a club and belt.
But now, Sturgis faces 11 more charges for allegedly abusing his other kids. The charges are as follows:

We also learned Thursday that Sturgis plans to claim "insanity" as a defense.
He is scheduled to be back in court on Dec. 20.
