Texas Roadhouse hosts 8th annual food drive

Texas Roadhouse and Church Community Services are teaming up for the eighth consecutive year to battle hunger in the Elkhart community. 

A food drive event will be held at Texas Road house in Elkhart on Sunday between 2:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m.

The family friendly event includes activities for children, food, a beer garden, and a live WWE pro wrestling match. 

The restaurant notes that all proceeds will go to CCS in addition to 10% of the event day’s total sales. 

Donations of canned goods, non-perishable food items, toiletries, and money will be accepted during the event. 

The restaurant says the event has previously raised thousands of dollars and hundreds of pounds of food used to help support thousands of needed families in Elkhart. 

Adult admission to the event will be $5 and children 12 and under are free with a paid adult admission.
