The new sci-fi film, "The Creator", directed by Gareth Edwards, hits theaters on September 29.
The film stars John David Washington as Joshua, Gemma Chan as Maya, and Madeleine Yuna Voyles as Alphie. Other featured cast members include Allison Janney as Colonel Howell and Ken Watanabe as Harun.
"The Creator" takes place during a war between humans and robots with artificial intelligence. Main character Joshua learns that a robot, masked as a young child, will be the key to ending the battle, according to IMDb.
The film is written by Edwards and Chris Weitz, whom Edwards worked with on 2016's "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story".
Keep in mind that "The Creator" is rated PG-13 for violence, some bloody images and strong language.
