ABC57 First Warning Neighborhood Weather Forecast
Saturday, December 31st , 2022
Leading up to midnight, the weather will be quiet but chilly. After the ball drops and we ring in 2023 is when some scattered rain showers are expected to make their way into Michiana. That rain will dissipate early Sunday morning, leaving behind fog throughout the region. Sunday through the beginning of Monday will be quiet and unseasonably warm, with temperatures jumping from the mid 40s into the low 50s by Monday afternoon. The warmth comes at the cost of steady rain entering the area from Monday evening through Tuesday afternoon. By Tuesday evening, the rain and clouds will have mostly cleared out leaving us with quiet conditions. Speaking of Tuesday, we have the possibility of seeing a new high temperature record recorded that day. The previous recordholder belongs to January 1st, 2004.
Tonight: Cloudy/Showers after midnight. Low 33.
Sunday: Cloudy. High 47.
Monday: Cloudy with fog in AM, rain in the evening. High 53.
Tuesday: AM rain, cloudy PM. High 60.
