"The Flash" opening weekend box office and critical reception

"The Flash" falls short at the box office opening weekend, with $55 million in domestic ticket sales, and $130 million worldwide, against a budget of $200 million.

The people that have seen "The Flash," however, are giving it mostly positive reviews, with an 85% audience score on Rotten Tomatoes.

Movie analysts blame streaming for this turnout, as fewer people are seeing what are expected to be blockbusters in the theaters.

DC hasn't performed very well with recent movies, such as "Black Adam" and "Shazam: Fury of the Gods".
