The Goat Cannabis Company opens its doors in Three Rivers
THREE RIVERS, Mich. --- For a new and unique dispensary experience in Three Rivers, The Goat Cannabis Company has you covered!
“I think we’re just a little more in touch with what the younger generation wants,” says J.J. Smith, Co-Owner of The Goat Cannabis Company. “We’ve been waiting a long time for it, we’re proud to be in the city of Three Rivers and we’ve got a great location right off 331.”
The Goat offers some of the best prices in the state and customers are instantly greeted with some of Hollywood’s most influential ‘users’ when they walk in.
“We did the mural to kind of create the vibe of in here,” Smith says. “You have all the people that kind of brought it to light in the Hollywood scene, and on the other side we have all the pioneers that were more in the music underground, so we really wanted to be something that everybody can relate to.”
Being minority-owned also sets The Goat apart and adds to the inviting atmosphere of the shop.
“We have a little bit of everything as far as ownership,” explains Smith. “We have minorities, we have different age demographics, from me being 26 to our oldest partner not even in his fifties. We’re very different from what the other companies, as far as the board structure is, and we want to bring something a little more diverse.”
As one of the youngest dispensary owners in the country, Smith has big plans in sight for his second pot shop and new brand.
“I was like ‘The Goat!’” It’s catchy, it’s a household name, it’s something that I think people really want,” Smith says. “We did it not only for the brand that we’re creating, but maybe the brand that we will one day sell and become a part of something bigger.”
Along with The Goat brand, Smith is also working on a consumption lounge in Cassopolis that he says should be finished by the end of November.
