The Kelly Cares 7th annual Football 101 to be held Tuesday night

We’re still months away from the start of football season in South Bend but on Tuesday night the gridiron at Notre Dame will be bustling and it’s all for a great cause.

On Tuesday night, Notre Dame will be the site of the 7th annual Football 101, hosted by the Kelly Cares Foundation.

Michiana ladies will take the field at Guglielmino Athletics Complex in an effort to fight breast cancer.

Women, 21 years or older, will take part in a tutorial session on football basics, tour the team’s facilities, and receive an Under Armour NFL Combine-style shirt.

Proceeds for the event benefit cancer prevention, awareness, and early detection.

Football 101 has raised over $653,000 for charity.
