The Salvation Army Elkhart hosts senior care days

ELKHART, Ind. - The Salvation Army Elkhart will host senior care days, offering free personal care services to Elkhart community senior citizens provided by Beacon Health and Woodland Manor staff.

Both days are free for senior citizens 55 and up.

WHEN

July 5, 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.: Staff from Beacon Health will be on hand offering health resources, blood pressure checks and COVID vaccines at no cost.

July 12 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.: Physical therapists from Woodland Manor will be teaching stretching techniques to increase range of motion and reduce pain. They will also be available to answer questions. There is no cost.

A free small lunch and snacks will be provided each time. There will also be games to play and other entertainment options while waiting to be served.

Appointments are available and will take precedence. Walk ins will be first come, first serve.
