NOTRE DAME, Ind. –- The University of Notre Dame will host what's become an annual spring tradition the unveiling of “The Shirt” Friday afternoon.
The Shirt raises money for student clubs and organizations.
This year , the unveiling will include a special guest -- former Notre Dame linebacker Jaylon Smith.
One of the students working with the project visited the ABC57 Studio Friday morning and was tight-lipped about the design.
“I just think it's going to be really great. I’ve had the experience of working on it for three years and I think that this is one of the best ones we’ve had yet. The designers put in tireless hours working and with input from everyone from the committee, I just really think it's going to be exciting. I think that fans are going to be looking forward to it to see it next year when we kick off the season,” he said.
The unveiling starts at 4 p.m. at the campus bookstore.
