Thoughtful gift, or a violation of the separation of Church and State?

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- A federal ruling, that could delay construction on the new St. Joseph's High School, could come anytime.

Last week, a judge heard arguments over property for the school's athletic complex. South Bend bought the land for just over $1 million, and gave it to the school.

The ACLU argues that the city violated the separation of church and state.

ABC57 News was told the judge could make a ruling as early as today. So far, no decision has been made.
