SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- It's a busy week ahead for the South Bend International Airport!
SBN is expecting more than 14,000 travelers to come through the TSA checkpoint between the holiday travel period of December 23rd-January 1st.
Flights will be full, so make sure you pack your patience with you. Expect longer wait times and delays. You should plan to arrive 90 minutes to 2 hours before your departure time to ensure things run as smooth as possible.
If you're traveling with gifts, make sure to leave them unwrapped. TSA will have to unwrap gifts if they need to be inspected further at the checkpoint.
Likewise, snow globes are popular this time of year, but still count as a liquid. If placed in your carry on, make sure it is less than the allotted 3.4 ounces.
