Possible threat at River Valley High School deemed not credible

BERRIEN COUNTY, Mich. – A possible threat at River Valley High School on Friday was deemed not credible, the Chikaming Township Police Department reported.

At 7:50 a.m., an officer responded to the school to investigate a potentially threatening situation involving a student.

Upon investigating alongside the principal and vice principal, law enforcement determined there was no credible threat to students, staff, or the school district.
