Three arrested on Douglas Road during drug investigation
SOUTH BEND, Ind. - Three people were arrested at a home in South Bend Friday morning in connection with an investigation into suspected drug activity, according to Indiana State Police.
At 8:18 a.m., troopers executed a search warrant in the 1700 block of S. Douglas Road as part of a multi-week investigation spurred by a concerned citizen's tip.
During the search, troopers found the following:
20 grams of suspected methamphetamine
Suspected marijuana
Drug paraphernalia, including syringes, scales and smoking devices
Three people were arrested in connection with the search:
Dylan Giles, 37, of South Bend, was arrested on the charges of possession of methamphetamine and possession of paraphernalia.
Natalie Richard, 39, of South Bend, was arrested on the charges of possession of methamphetamine, possession of paraphernalia and a warrant for a probation violation.
May Harmon, 52, of Elkhart, was arrested for a warrant out of Elkhart County.
All three were taken to the St. Joseph County Jail.
