EDWARDSBURG, Mich. -- A fatal accident closed a busy street in Edwardsburg for most of Saturday morning.
Around 11:00 p.m. Friday, a three car accident took the life of 42-year-old, Matthew Lee Titus, a resident of Elkhart.
He was traveling eastbound on U.S. 12 near Eagle Lake Road in a pick-up truck when he struck a semi truck head-on after crossing the center line.
This impact caused his truck to fly backwards into a small car.
Everyone else involved escaped with minor injuries.
Police do believe alcohol was a factor in the crash.
