Three children killed in fire

KALAMAZOO, Mich. — Investigators are trying to figure out what started a fire that killed three young children in Kalamazoo.

Police say the kids, a one-year-old and twin three-year-olds, were home alone when the fire broke out Monday afternoon.

By the time firefighters arrived the apartment was engulfed in flames.

Family members are devastated.

"I'm broken! My heart broken because my niece is be up in there and they not telling us nothing," the victims' aunt, Gloria Morgan.

The fire destroyed one apartment and damaged several others.

Police say the person who was supposed to be watching the kids may face charges.
