Three injured in accident on SR15 in Leesburg

The Kosciusko County FACT team is investigating a three vehicle crash in Leesburg that happened around 5:15 Tuesday evening.

Investigators determined a 2002 Pontiac driven by Melinda Powell of Leesburg was driving southbound on SR15 and slowed to turn onto CR600 North.

Jacqueline Dominguez of Nappanee was driving a 2005 Chrysler behind Powell and struck the back of Powell's vehicle. The Chrysler then went into the northbound lanes and struck a Ford SUV driven by Shaina Harrell of Warsaw head on.

Dominguez was taken to Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne in serious condition.

Powell was taken to Kosciusko Community Hospital in fair condition.

Harrell was airlifted to Memorial Hospital of South Bend in very serious condition.
