Three Irish baseball players picked in MLB draft

NOTRE DAME, Ind. -- Some big news for several Notre Dame baseball players, they're headed to the major leagues.

Three Notre Dame players were picked up in the 2012 MLB draft this week.

Catcher Joe Hudson went to the Cincinnati Reds in the 6th round. RHP Will Hudgins was picked by the Washington Nationals in the 22nd round and LHP Steve Sabatino was drafted by the St. Louis Cardinals in the 26th round.
