THREE RIVERS, Mich. -- Three Rivers Community Schools made a post Sunday afternoon stating all schools will be closed Monday, Mar. 9, due to significant storm damage in and around the community, including some of the district facilities.

The administration building, maintenance and storage area received some damage, but nothing compared to the new transportation building, which lost the garage roof with several damaged vehicles, including buses in the parking lot. 

The maintenance team and staff are working tirelessly to ensure the school remains a safe place for the community.

The instructional buildings are safe, but they continue to assess and clean up throughout the district.
