Three Rivers man admits to drinking before hitting tree

THREE RIVERS, Mich. — A man is in the hospital after hitting a tree. The man admitted that he had been drinking prior to the accident.

William Rackley was driving home from Kalamazoo when he lost control of his vehicle, crossed the center line, ran off the road and struck a tree.

He and his passenger were taken to Three Rivers Hospital.

The case is still open pending blood alcohol test results.
