Three Rivers man arrested after police pursuit
THREE RIVERS, Mich.—A 26-year-old Three Rivers man was arrested after a police pursuit through the city on September 28, according to the Three Rivers Police Department.
On Saturday night, officers responded to the south end of Three Rivers after learning of a police pursuit in progress that was heading towards the city.
The suspect vehicle drove over stop sticks placed by police but it continued driving northbound through the city, in the area of Riverside Townhouses, according to police.
Police said the suspect abandoned his vehicle in a nearby field and ran into the area surrounding the townhomes.
Officers and a K-9 arrested the suspect after a chase through the area.
The suspect was identified as a 26-year-old Three Rivers resident and he was taken to the St. Joseph County Jail on multiple felony charges and outstanding arrest warrants.
