THREE RIVERS, Mich. -- Three Rivers Police have arrested a suspect accused of an armed robbery Friday morning.

Police responded to the 700 block of W. Michigan Avenue around 11:15 a.m. for reports of an armed robbery.

The suspect took an unknown amount of cash and fled the scene on a bicycle, police said.

A witness called dispatch and gave them information on the suspect.

Police established probable cause for a suspect and served a search warrant in the 100 block of E. Michigan Avenue.

The suspect was taken into custody without incident.

Police said they seized evidence of the crime.

Three Rivers Police were assisted by the St. Joseph Sheriff’s Department, Michigan State Police, and the Department of Natural Resources.
