Three-year-old injured in Goshen farming accident dies

GOSHEN, Ind. -- The 3-year-old girl run over by a farming tractor Friday evening in Goshen has died, according to the Elkhart County Sheriff's Department.
The St. Joseph County Coroners Office notified the sheriff's department that Bethany Martin died from her injuries at 11:55 p.m. Friday night.
The accident happened at 7:15 p.m. in the 60000 block of CR 11. According to investigators, the child was run over while a piece of farming machinery was being hooked up to a tractor.
The child was airlifted to Memorial Hospital where she died while receiving treatment.
