Three-year-old shot near downtown Elkhart

Elkhart Police say a three-year-old was shot on Morton Avenue Thursday night.Officers were able to arrive on the scene within minutes and administer first aid.
The child was taken to Memorial Hospital in South Bend and will be transferred to Riley's Children hospital in Indianapolis.
