Thrill on the Hill provides fun times in Buchanan

Friday kicked off the Thrill on the Hill in Buchanan, where people could take part in numerous winter activities.

The most popular activity at this year's event was the snow ramp that has already seen many visitors flying down it on inner tubes.

"I was expecting it to be kind of like a roller coaster at first, and the first time it kind of was. And I screamed and, it was a lot of adrenaline and it was really exciting," said Paige Davidson, one of the visitors. 

Some of the other activities held on Friday were a wacky hat contest, an ugly sweater contest, horse-drawn wagon rides through downtown, and even a dance contest with live DJ's.

From 11:00 p.m. through 1:00 a.m. Friday evening they ran an adult-only midnight run.

Cost of admission was only $3.00 to enjoy all of the activities.

If you were unable to attend on Friday, the festivities are set to continue on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. through 9:00 p.m.
