Saturday, April 27, 2024
Unseasonably warm temperatures with dewpoints in the low to mid 60s persist over the next couple of hours, providing the instability and moisture necessary for rain tonight. Expect scattered showers to enter the area later this evening around 7-8pm, eventually giving way to scattered thunderstorm development during the overnight hours that will last into early Sunday morning. While the severe threat is still low, some strong storms with heavy rain and damaging winds are possible. Scattered showers fill out the rest of Sunday morning with mostly cloudy conditions and highs in the low 80s after. The next best chance for rain will be Sunday night into Monday morning with rain showers expected during this time as a cold front pushes through. Highs begin to cool off at the start of the work week into the mid 70s. Another round of rain is possible late Monday into early Tuesday before we wake up with low impacts anticipated. Highs bottom out in the low 70s Tuesday afternoon.
Tonight: Scattered thunderstorms. Low 63.
Sunday: AM showers. High 82.
Monday: Scattered AM showers. High 74.
Tuesday: AM showers. High 72.
