Tickets to Chicago Cubs alternate site games available Friday

SOUTH BEND, Ind. – For the first time in almost 18 months, Major League Baseball is coming back to South Bend, and this Friday, fans can grab their tickets to see it.

The Chicago Cubs alternate team will host the Detroit Tigers alternate team on April 10 and the Chicago White Sox alternate team on April 17 at Four Winds Field.

Fans can purchase tickets on Friday, April 2 at 12 p.m.

“We are incredibly thankful to the Chicago Cubs and Major League Baseball for allowing us the opportunity to host fans at these games,” said South Bend Cubs Team President Joe Hart. “Just as the players need to stay conditioned for the upcoming season, our staff will use these games as a tune-up for the upcoming Minor League Baseball season.”

Only 1,000 tickets will be sold at $10 each.

Fans will be able to select the section they want to sit in, and social distancing is required. Face masks are required in public areas like restrooms, on the concourse, entering and exiting the stadium, and walking to the seating bowl.

Masks can be removed when actively eating and drinking at your seat.

Per Major League Baseball’s mandated buffer zone between fans and players, the first two rows will not be available and fans cannot ask for autographs.

Concessions will be open for both games in addition to the Cubs Den Team Store and other food venues.

Tickets are available for purchase online only here.
