Tigers beat Red Sox: Fans pack Comerica Park

DETROIT -- Fans packed into Comerica Park on Thursday afternoon to watch Detroit take on Boston!
They weren't disappointed!
CY Young winner Justin Verlander was dominant for eight innings.
Then the Tigers nearly blew it!
But Austin Jackson hit a bases-loaded single in the bottom of the ninth inning.
The final score was 3 to 2.
The White Sox home opener is on Friday.
