WINONA LAKE, Ind. - The gym at Grace College was packed by students and community members alike on Friday morning, as Tim Tebow took the stage.
The Heisman-winning quarterback and former NFL starter spoke about his faith and his career, serving as the finale for Career Week at Grace. Organizers said it was the perfect end to their inspirational week.
"We bring these speakers in to provide inspiration, and to provide opportunity, and we have career fairs," said Drew Flamm, the VP of Advancement at Grace. "There's a greater purpose and that's what Tim shared with us this morning. That's what we want our students and our community to know. It was just a really exciting way to cap off an exciting week."
Earlier this week, Grace also welcomed business leaders and another athlete: the former Indiana Fever star Tamika Catchings.
