Tip leads to arrest of resident on drug charges
CASS COUNTY, Mich. -- Investigators seized methamphetamine, packaging, paraphernalia and a sawed off shotgun after searching a home on S. Main Street in Jones, Michigan, according to the Cass County Sheriff's Office.
On November 8, the Cass County Drug Enforcement Team and the Michigan Department of Corrections Parole/Probation Division went to the home following a tip concerning drugs use and firearms in the residence.
A search of the home produced methamphetamine, methamphetamine use paraphernalia, methamphetamine packaging and distribution items, and a sawed off shotgun.
The 26 year old female resident was arrested on charges of possession of methamphetamine, possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine, maintaining a drug house, and felony firearms.
Her name is being withheld pending arraignment.
