Tippecanoe Place Restaurant officially closes its doors Monday
Tippecanoe Place Restaurant SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The Tippecanoe Place Restaurant officially announced that they would be closing effective immediately on Monday.
The Tippecanoe Place Restaurant posted on Facebook Monday evening stating, "To our loyal guests, partners, and the South Bend community: Thank you! For decades, we at the Tippecanoe Place Restaurant and the Studebaker Brewing Company South Bend have been honored to be part of your celebrations, holidays, milestones, and memories! The moments shared here will always be cherished—especially by Tippecanoe Place Restaurant’s current owner, Kevin Jakel, whose dedication to honoring the spirit and legacy of this place has been unwavering and it is his heartfelt hope that the mansion and all it’s incredible history will find a new life in the years ahead."
Attorney Noah Davey, the mansion owner, will continue to keep the community informed regarding the future plans and uses for the property as next steps are being considered.
The Studebaker Brewing Company taproom will continue to serve lunch and dinner six days a week.
