SOUTH BEND, In. -- If your high school senior is about to head off to college, make sure they've filled out the FAFSA form.
The deadline to fill out the FAFSA for is midnight tonight if you live in Indiana.
The free application for student aid can be intimidating, but after several years of trying to make improvements, experts at the non-profit INvestED Indiana say the website and form are now more user friendly and has fewer glitches.
Bill Wozniak of Invest-Ed Indiana "We are so happy to report this year the FAFSA launched even a little before October 1 which was a very, very welcome thing. And the site itself - the form itself- has been performing very well this year."
